Covenant Path: Temple – Ark Tour (2022)

Day 1: Arrival

Arrive at Kansas City International Airport

• Make your way to the hotel. You can visit various sites around Kansas City as other tour members arrive.
• Welcome dinner and presentation by your Guides, Russ Barlow, Hannah Stoddard, & Robert Wright.

Day 2 – Strataca!

650 Feet underground the world takes on an entirely new view in an enormous salt mine! We will travel back in time to when the Earth went through significant changes. This is an outstanding part of the tour!

Day 3 – Liberty Jail, Temple Lot, The Arabia

Visit the location Joseph Smith dedicated for the building of the New Jerusalem Temple. Experience the place where one of the most powerful revelations came to Joseph Smith, and visit a riverboat known to have transported Latter-day Saints to Nauvoo, but that was sunk and lost to time for a century and a half before being unburied with its full load of cargo bound for the western territories.

Day 4 – Sunday at Adam-ondi-Ahman

Bask in the Spirit of Peace at the location where Adam gathered his righteous posterity before departing this world. This will include an open air service in the spirit of the days of the early church, with testimony and a discussion revealing new information about this time!

Day 5 – Nauvoo

Illinois arrowheads & geodes, Joseph Smith’s farm house, Nephite influence, and many other “off-the-beaten-path” places will enrich your knowledge of The City of Joseph.

Day 6 – Nauvoo, Continued

Part two of the Nauvoo experience by local resident guide, Robert Wright, including a visit to the Flood Museum, of which he is curator. This is an unforgettable experience!

Day 7 – Carthage Jail, Monks Mound, New Madrid

We will visit the place of Martyrdom for Joseph & Hyrum Smith, then travel to a Nephite mound in St. Louis before visiting the location of the most powerful earthquakes ever to have struck the United States. Here you will learn how this area figures in to American and Nephite history, as well as new information that links this to an ancient earthquake in Jerusalem circa 33 AD!

Day 8 – The Ark Encounter

This extraordinary day takes to Kentucky to the world’s largest timber structure, a full-sized replica of Noah’s Ark. This will absolutely blow you away and will forever change your paradigm about the Ark. We will convene for a fireside dinner at the end of our day.

Day 9 – Creation Museum & Departure

The morning will find us wandering the beautiful walks and gardens of one America’s best Creation Museums. We will complete our tour and head to the Cincinnati Airport for your trip home. (No flights before 3pm please).
